AmeriColor Bright White Soft Gel Paste Food Color

Our AmeriColor Gel Paste Food Color is the perfect way to make your cakes, cookies and candies pop with rich, vibrant color. It’s conveniently packaged in this squeeze bottle with a flip-top lid so you can easily create the sweet treats you’ve envisioned right in your own kitchen. This water-based food coloring should not be used in chocolate unless you also use AmeriColor Flo-Coat (although it can be used in fudge that is not chocolate). Manufacturer's statement: Every effort has been made to reproduce the gel food color shown, however, the color may vary due to reproduction limitations and your monitor's color settings.

Doesn't Mix Well

I thought this would work for my hard candy and taffy but it doesn't seem like it mixes in properly and I need to use more than expected as well. I'm sure it works fine for other applications, which I'll have to test out at a later date and time. I've never used this brand for anything before so had to try it out. I just noticed they carry a LorAnn brand liquid which is made for hard candy. I'll be using that instead next time.
