No false bottom September 5, 2018 Reviewer: Steve Schroeder from Smithville, TX United States   I thought the pan had a false bottom so that you can separate the edge of the cake from the pan then lift it out of the ring. Somewhat like a spring form cheesecake pan. It is all one piece. We have not baked with it yet so I do not know how removing an 18” cake will go. We will see.
